Ta Xuan Hieu

At the medical station of Dong Anh Ha Noi, the nurses realized that baby boy Ta Xan Hieu was born with clubfoot.  Hieu’s mother was scared because she feared that he would not be able to live a healthy life like other children, but after taking her baby boy back to the hospital, the doctor informed her that clubfoot is treatable.  With the doctor’s help, his clubfoot was treated through casting and is now wearing the special shoe brace, enabling him to learn how to walk.  He can now live a healthy life and grow up to have a childhood like his mother wished through the help of the Prosthetics Outreach Foundation.
